Chebulagic acid
Chebulagic acid is an organic compound with antioxidant properties, having various uses in medicine. Recent studies have shown its anti-inflammatory, hepatoprotective effect, but also a strong inhibitory effect of alpha-glucosidase (a human intestinal enzyme involved in the breakdown of carbohydrates), suggesting its use in non-insulin-dependent diabetes.
Chebulagic acid has strong anti-inflammatory, hepatoprotective effect and antioxidant action. It is found in Haritaki, the fruit of the Terminalia Chebula.
One sachet of ProHumano+ ArtroDinamic contains 250 mg of a standardized extract from Terminalia Chebula fruit.

Osteoarthritis (also called arthritis) can affect any joint. However, the most commonly affected areas of the body are the joints that support more weight, such as the joints of the knee, hip, and spine, but also the hands (finger joints).
