Spinal ganglia
The spinal nerves contain both sensitive and motor fibers. The fibers represent the continuation of the nerve roots and reach the neural bodies located in the spinal ganglia through the dorsal root. A spinal ganglion (or dorsal root ganglion) is a group of cell bodies in a dorsal root of a spinal nerve. The ganglia are oval and have sizes corresponding to the adequate spinal root.
