Bioflavonoids
Also known as vitamin P, bioflavonoids are antioxidants with a complementary effect to that of vitamin C. They protect the body against external agents, and strengthen the capillary walls, regulating the permeability of blood vessels, fight the formation of varicose veins and help with maintaining skin elasticity.
The main sources of bioflavonoids are fruits, especially fruit peel, red vegetables, and fresh greens.
The milk thistle fruit contains a complex of bioflavonoids called silymarin. One ProHumano+ HepatoDefense Capsule contains 108 mg of silybin, the main active component of silymarin.
