Alcoholic liver disease
Alcohol abuse can cause three types of liver injury. Depending on the duration and the amount of alcohol consumed, the effects are reflected in liver diseases.
Liver injury develops in the following order: the initial phase of alcoholic liver disease is the accumulation of fat, also called hepatic steatosis; the second phase is alcoholic steatohepatitis, and the last phase is hepatic cirrhosis.
ProHumano+ HepatoDefense Capsules combines silybin and phosphatidylcholine, two of the best-known substances with hepatoprotective and hepatic regenerative role. One ProHumano+ HepatoDefense capsule contains 108 mg of silybin and 216 mg of phosphatidylcholine.
Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease is the most common chronic liver disease in children living in developed countries.
