Chronic hepatitis
Hepatitis is an inflammation of the liver. In chronic hepatitis, liver inflammation continues for at least six months. This condition may be mild, causing relatively little damage to the liver, or more severe, causing the destruction of many liver cells. Some cases lead to cirrhosis and liver failure.
Hepatitis A is always acute, being a short-term disease. At the same time, hepatitis B (caused by hepatitis B virus - HBV), hepatitis C (caused by hepatitis C virus - HCV), and hepatitis D (caused by hepatitis delta virus - D) are chronic forms.
ProHumano+ HepatoDefense Capsules combine in one capsule 108 mg of silybin and 216 mg of phosphatidylcholine, two of the best-known substances with liver protection role.
Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease is the most common chronic liver disease in children living in developed countries.
